Exploring the Role of Forest Resources Abundance on Economic Development in the Yangtze River Delta Region: Application of Spatial Durbin SDM Model

With the data of 41 cities, including urban and rural areas in Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region from 2007 to 2019, this paper mainly uses spatial econometric method analyze impact forest resource abundance YRD on economic development under background carbon neutrality. Direct effects, indirect total effects are further decomposed. The main conclusions as follows. (1) resources has a U-shaped non-linear effect development, curse will gradually form welfare with improvement. (2) phenomenon convergence exists region. (3) is non-linear, increase greenery reduction should be moderately reasonable. (4) can also promote green factor productivity. research complements existing literature provides reference for policymakers.
